About

Awadesh Sharma

I read the Upanishads and geopolitical white papers with equal seriousness, and see no contradiction between the two.

I write about the things that refuse to leave me alone. Vedanta and Indian philosophy. The shifting geometry of power and conflict. The quiet architecture of culture. And occasionally, futures that haven’t happened yet. My speculative fiction tends to land somewhere between satire and warning.

I publish a weekly channel called Awadesh Writes, where these threads show up as short essays, stories, and provocations, blending ancient Indian thought with contemporary life, cinema, and the textures of the everyday. This site is the longer shelf for that work, and for pieces that need more room to breathe.

If you’re here, you’re probably the kind of reader who doesn’t need ideas pre-digested. Welcome. I write for you.
